Kaze No Kai

meaning 'association of wind'

was established in the fall of 2003 by

Mitsunari Kanai Shihan.

Its purpose is to develop and guide the instruction of Iaido as was established by

Kanai Sensei

and carried on at

New England Aikikai

as Kaze No Kai Iaido Group.

Muso Shinden Ryu style Iaido is the traditional study of the art of drawing, cutting, and re-sheathing the sword. Please feel free to come by the dojo anytime during class hours to observe and ask questions. An interview is required for admittance to Iaido classes. Aikido instruction, although not required, is sometimes recommended as a prerequisite to the instruction of Iaido.
